Sonya was born and raised in Georgia and realized she wanted to be an actress 5 years ago. She has trained with Kate Rasnick doing voice overs and Ashley Thompson, actress. She has had the privilege of working on several projects ranging from film to music videos to TV shows to commercials. She has had the opportunity to work with several leading men and women of Hollywood. Such projects include 'The Joneses' starring Demi Moore and David Duchovny; 'Due Date starring Robert Downey, Jr. ; 'The Blindside' starring Tim McGraw and Sandra Bullock; 'My Fake Fiance' starring Joey Lawrence and Mellissa Joan Hart; Refer to the resume for more listings. She starred in an infomercial with comedian Dominick Racano. She was a lead detective in the movie 'Ebony Knight' and a FBI agent in the webisode series 'Money, Power and Respect' She also had a small role in the movie 'More Than Diamonds'.
